About Montë Mar

Montë Mar is an alternative pop group out of Los Angeles, California, that consists of Brian Green (Vocals, Guitar), Kyle Crane (Drums), Dylan Durboraw (Bass) and Bill Zimmerman (Keyboards, Vocals). Frontman and primary songwriter, Brian Green, founded the group in 2011 to create an original sound and vision with musicians he could both draw inspiration from and turn to for collaboration. Their influences stem from a wide and colorful palette, ranging from artists such as The Beach Boys to Michael Jackson. This vast sonic spectrum i.s woven together by an uplifting and vibrant spirit, that can best be described as Californian.

In 2012, Montë Mar released their debut EP, Different Place, and generated attention from regional tastemakers and radio stations including Kevin Bronson of Buzzbands LA ans Star 90.7FM. Following the release, the band performed regularly at Los Angeles venues such as The Satellite and Bootleg Theatre in addition to touring the US as an opener for American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox.

As well as performing and recording with Montë Mar, all band members work as professional musicians. Brian Green tours as a guitar player and backup singer with Michael Bubble and John Legend, in addition to working as a songwrited and producer in Los Angeles. Kyle Crane is an in demand studio drummer working regularly with producers such as Daniel Lanois and Glen Ballard in addition to performing live with artists including Everest and Judith Hill.
