Thank you for bringing Heartcore to Africa

We at Heartcore Records would like to sincerely thank you for your loving support of the “Heartcore for Africa” project. With your help, Heartcore representative, musician, producer, and educator Michaela Bokova traveled to Zambia and recorded the song “Ni Chikondi (About Love)” with a choir of children from the Mthunzi Oprhan Center. This song, a collaboration between Kurt Rosenwinkel, the Mthunzi orphan center, jazz trumpet great Dave Douglas, and jazz piano great Aaron Parks sold 120 tracks and generated $700 in revenue, which allowed us the ability to purchase several new pieces of musical equipment for the children. Some of the items we purchased were as follows:

-Gear4music DeluxeElectro Acoustic Bass Ukelele
-Roland Go: Keys Music Creation Keyboard with AC Adaptor
-Hohner Student 32 Melodica
-2 Octaves Gear4music Glockenspiel
-Five Gear4music Ukeleles

Michaela has recently returned from another outreach trip: “Heartcore for India”. This new project is a collaboration between Heartcore Records and Educo Sai Baba Path Public School, Mumbai, India. Be sure to check in often for updates on this exciting new charitable initiative!
